What is that insect???? It looks scary. I know your tag says "flies", but that's a pretty hardcore looking fly if ever i saw one.It looks like it could beat me in a fight.
Those cactus thingies look sort of like mini daleks...or maybe i just forgot to take my pills again.
The first pic reminds me of those things that men who play cricket put down their pants to protect their gear. But I do realise it is a shell of some kind. Shells rock! I used to live near this beach that was covered in all manner of amazing shells. It's so cool to think that all beaches are made of finely ground up shells. Little creatures live in the shells, then after a while discard their homes, which eventually get crushed up and made into beach. But here i am, waffling again. It's just one of those random things I enjoy thinking about.
Cool photos! or " fodoz" as we aussies say.

I don't know what that insect is, I call it a fly, but it reminds me of a huge wasp. I went swimming in a lake one day, and later that night found it in my hair. Ewww.
I had to look up daleks, and have to agree that the cactus does look like that. So that's where the voices are coming from.
Are you speaking of a protective cup to cover the gonads? I have never played cricket, but in baseball you have to wear them. A beach of crushed up shells is better than a beach of crushed up nads. I imagine that would be more gooey than anything (ew).
Fodoz is so much cooler than the ph and no z. I like calling them photogs. I'm glad you like them!

I love the last one. Almost looks like cactus (or cacti)performing a play.
Or is it just me?

Sybil -- they do look very dramatic.

Your not missing much with the cricket...but yes, i imagine it is a similar device to the one worn during baseball. Not having gonads myself I'm probably no authority on the matter!
I probably should've explained the dalek thing...Doctor Who is probably more well known over here! But now your existance is all the richer for your research into these little robotic beings :)

I mean "you're" not missing much, not "your". It annoys me when people get those wrong, and now I've gone and done it.

I didn't respond to your comment immediately for you're treatment of the english language. For shame!!!!!
