Adrenal Cafe

I took apart an old camera that my grandpa gave to me yesterday so that I could be more like the Dalai Lama - he's smrt. The impetus for the act was to get the coveted lens - the most valuable part of the camera. At this I succeeded, and by doing so I also found circuit cards, a flash, two batteries and a series of gears. The gears were small, plastic and intricate and reminded me of thinking.

Then I started wondering what the most valuable parts in our bodies were. I based my lens decision in the camera on usefulness. Now I can read things from afar. Tempered glass is also a rarity in the jungle, and hopefully now I'll be able to start fires. The circuit cards might be more valuable to a person who knew how to work them, but I would guess those people are rare. To most of us they are just pieces of plastic. The flash also held a certain appeal to me, unfortunately it was useless without it's wiring and power source. The gears were cool, but a special rigging was needed for their operation.

The lenses of a camera can be compared to my eyes. Indeed, eyes are a marvel. They are spherical, which is the shape of God, and they have colours in them. I'm not an expert in eyeballs, but I think they would get smushy or would dry out if let unlubricated for to long - they might even start rotting. So, although eyes are like lenses when connected to the brain, they are more like slimy balls of uselessness when unconnected.

The gears could be compared to my brain, but as you all know a brain is also quite mushy when not connected and prone to rotting - that's why it's always stuffed into jars with fluid.

The nerves of the body are rather uninteresting and can be compared to the circuit cards and wiring. I wouldn't know what to do with them.

There may or may not be bowels in a camera. Either way, I'm sure they would be boring. What would I want with bowels?

Bones are cool to walk around with and to make threatening gestures with. In a pinch they could be used as shelter or other structural formations, but for this a lot would be need. The same can be said for the plastic casing of a camera, but a shelter out of that would be like living in the dump.

With this in mind I will suggest that the most valuable part of the body is the adrenal gland. With it you can eat it and get hyped up. Screw coffee, friends, or tea, the adrenal gland is where it's at. There are no adrenal cafes yet, largely because killing people solely for their glands is inhumane, but with cloning on it's rise the cafes are not far behind!
